@Johnny-Viti not to be that guy, but discord's support team is literally all bots and I doubt there's a single human even paid to handle complaints. they also are notorious for never accepting ban appeals or anything of the such. discord is God awful with moderation and if you're banned or you get a strike, you're just cooked. full stop. nothing else so my best bet is to have a VPN and an alt ready for when it happens bc I feel like this will happen once more knowing this stupid company =-=

I have had a similar horrible experience with Discord "moderation". Back in 2023, before the strike system was introduced, I got banned for being "underage", even though I was over 13. Some furry idiot flagged my message where I said a number under 13, which, to the newly-introduced AI moderation at the time, made it seem like I was talking about my age. I made 2 appeals, both of which were ghosted. I had to make a new account. At least the only positive thing is that I immediately mass-flagged the same furry idiot that got me banned, and then they also got wiped off Discord. Karma was served. They should not have boasted about false-flagging me in the chat, because I used the same mechanism against them. I know two wrongs do not make a right, but, I feel like this was perfectly justified. I am a tıt-for-tat type of person.

@Idyll I think discord might as well remover moderation if it's all AI based and leave it to servers to deal with it because the AI moderation is just that [censored]. they falsely ban everything istg and are incappable of banning bots, preds, scammers, ect. so it's basically useless
